I photograph people in love. It is actually that simple. It is also where my agenda starts and ends. Nothing more, nothing less. I adore photography and I am so blessed to do this as my full-time job, it is actually unreal!
As your photographer, my hope is that we come out of our experience together as new friends! What I Offer
FAQ
Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot? No, I do not. Putting it simply: There are often several shots of the same exact pose as I'll shoot so many images back to back. This results in numerous duplicates. Additionally, with occurrences like quick lighting changes, movements, and focal changes, some images aren't going to be in perfect quality. As I want you to have the most out of your investment, I'll cultivate the best of the best photos from the entire session.
Q: Do you give out raw or unedited images? As I take pride in my unique and skilled editing style, I will never return images that are unedited -- I believe in giving back a finished product. Every photo I return will be retouched which includes: color correction, exposure adjustment, clarity adjustments, and so much more. I have developed this unique style throughout the years, which is one of the many reasons people choose to book with me.
Q: How many images will I get from my session? As I take pride in my unique and skilled editing style, I will never return images that are unedited -- I believe in giving back a finished product. Every photo I return will be retouched which includes: color correction, exposure adjustment, clarity adjustments, and so much more. I have developed this unique style throughout the years, which is one of the many reasons people choose to book with me.
Q: What type of camera/equipment do you use? For most sessions, I'll either grab my Sony A7 III or Sony A7 IV. My favorite lenses to shoot on are a Sony 35 mm 1.4 or Sony 50 mm 1.8. All images are initially edited in Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Lightroom Classic. Special cases will be edited in Adobe Photoshop. For behind the scenes photos and videos I'll use my iphone with a gimbal or my Ray Ban Meta glasses.
Q: Do you travel? Yes! Any travel within 50 miles of Austin is free. Anything outside of that will result in a $0.50/mile rate. If shooting out-of-town, overnight accommodations may be requested for sessions over 45 minutes away.
Q: Do you have past clients that we can speak to as reference? Word of mouth is the best form of compliment, but to keep privacy for my clients, I don't give out any personal information. I am more than happy to share old galleries for reference on my style, as well as happy to share reviews I've received from clients.
Q: Do you deliver black and white images? I most definitely can! Initially, every gallery will be edited in my unique color style, but if black and white images interest you, don't hesitate to let me know! I can edit any specific images or the entire gallery if you'd like. Each black and white photo you want to be edited will run you an additional $.25/image.
Q: How long will it take to get my photos back? This answer is subject to change at any time. Many factors play into how long images will take to be returned. My usual turn around for standard sessions is one week. That said, depending on how many sessions I have in a week, how long each session is, and if I have any weddings/mini session days, things may change. I try to be upfront and honest at the end of every session for how long things will take.
Q: How should we go about printing our images? This is a great question! While printing places like Walgreens and CVS definitely have their conveniences, they don't value the integrity of the image. Often times colors can be distorted, images can be cropped, and quality can be diminished. I recommend ordering prints directly through my return service, Pixieset, or using a third party like Mpix, Printique, Snapfish, or Nations Photo Lab.
Q: What do I wear? I get this one so much, that I created a style guide. But when in doubt, go with neutrals! You're always welcome to run outfit ideas by me via email or text if you have any further questions.
